Beginning Clay

Each Friday at Lala Studio our Beginning Clay class allows guests to fine tune their handbuilding skills. Project List: Candle holder, Tile Design, Clay Sculpture, Lidded Jar, Vase, Mugs, and More! (16 yrs +)

Ladies Night
Thursdays 6pm-9pm
Each Thursday night Ladies are welcome to come to Lala Studio to snack, chat, and play with clay! Bring a friend and meet Lafayette's Wonderful Ladies!

Family & Friends Handbuilding Classes:
Family & Friends classes can be scheduled for Mommy and daughter, Daddy and son, Grams and grandchild, Bestfriends or any combination you can come up with. Contact the studio to make a reservation today! Classes are an hour and a half long, and can be one or two days. One day classes are decorated with underglaze colors and will be ready in a week. Two day classes allow you to use underglaze and overglaze colors on your masterpiece.
Fee: $25 a pair 1 day
Fee: $40 a pair 2 days

Family & Friends Throwing Classes:
Have you ever wanted to try throwing on the wheel or just wanted to goof around with clay? Get a group of friends together to take a private handbuilding or wheel throwing class! Classes are an hour and a half long, and can be 1 or 2 day class. One day classes are decorated with underglaze colors and will be ready in a week. Two day classes allow you to use underglaze and overglaze colors on your masterpiece.
Fee: $25 a person for 1 day
Fee: $40 a person for 2 days

Open Studio:
Open studio is offered when a group party or class is not booked in the studio. Any one with little or advanced clay experience is welcome to come to the studio and play with clay! Lala will help you create a bowl, plate, project, or a work of art.
Fee: $15 hr. + $4 lb. for glaze and firing fees
Open studio is open when classes are not in session.
(When you choose to keep the piece you created an additional fee of $4 a lb for clay and firing charges will be added)
